Add Recent Posts without Classic Recent Post Element

Hello, I know that there is close to feature parity between the Classic Elements and the V2 Elements. I have looked and cannot find a solution to --> add recent posts to a page without using the Classic Recent Posts element. Is it possible to add recent posts to a page with the V2 Elements?

Hello Jim,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we do not have a version 2 to add recent posts element. A feature request has already been added and is under development already. What you can do is to install TheGrid plugin or Essential Grid plugin and then use it to display the recent posts items. You can install it by going to Pro > Validation > Extensions. Hello James,

Aside from the Recent Post shortcode, the only way to add recent post would be to use the plugins that was suggested (with X) or through custom coding which goes beyond the scope of our support.
