Add Product Category images to Uber Menu

Hello there,

Is it possible to display the product category images alongside each category name in the Uber Menu, or do I add the image manually to each menu item using the item image settings?

Also, I have added the Uber Menu to a custom header - the sub menu width seems trapped by the x-bar container. I have followed the tutorial and unbound the menu to get it to expand to the width of the viewport, but that hasn’t worked. I can I break out of this?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks for writing in! The Ubermenu may not be able to product images. I would highly recommend that you check the plugin documentation instead:

And to break out the Ubermenu to widen the width, please make sure that in your container settings, the Self Flex is set to “Fill Space Equally”.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I followed your instructions there and the menu does now reach to the width of the container (see pink block), but still does not break out of it to stretch the width of the view port or page.

Have a missed something else?

Hey Spencer,

The submenu will only span the length of the page if the container spans the page as well. Regretfully, that is not possible in your setup as the container’s space is limited. Regretfully, you’d need to find a plugin that could spread the submenu width regardless of container size.
