Add poster image and link to end of video?

Using the Video Element with a hosted video. Is there a way to add a poster image to the end or just show the last frame of the video? Currently it’s ending on a white frame (not the last frame in the video).

Also is there a way to make the whole video player clickable with a custom URL after the video ends? For a call to action.

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, these aren’t possible. The video element uses MediaElementJs library which is built-in to Wordpress core, we only styled it to match the theme design.

And when the video ends, it always reset back the time in which the white frame is present. I recommend adding any design element to that white area of your video.
