Add overlay to image

Hi,

I would like to add over to an image. I have searched previous posts, but have had no luck with the codes provided.

Can you please provide assistance?

Hi there,

Please add a class to the column that contains the image that you want to add an overlay to then add this code in the custom CSS:

This code assumes that the class you added to the section is img-column.

.img-column {
    position: relative;
}

.img-column:after {
    content: "";
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    right: 0;
    width: 100%;
    height:  100%;
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
}
