Add-On Domain 404 Errors

I’m having a unique problem that has been confusing me for a couple of days now. I have a couple of domains pointed to the same Wordpress website.

thechurchofgod.org is the primary domain. laiglesiadedios.org is an add-on domain that points to the root folder and is the spanish translation of the website using WPML. These domains work flawlessly.

vlb.church is a website that is specifically for our youth ministries. It points to www.thechurchofgod.org/vlb.

vlb.church works. vlb.church/hype works. vlb.church/iyc works. But when I add a second layer such as vlb.church/hype/merch I’m directed to a 404 page. All of these /SUB addresses work when they are attached to the primary domain such as thechurchofgod.org/vlb/hype/merch.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this problem?

Hello @thechurchofgod,

We’re sorry you are having this issue. This seems to be not a theme issue but a domain setup issue. It would be best if you will consult the domain provider or your hosting provider to sort this out. Thank you for understanding.

My apologies. I thought I had posted in the user forum. I will consult with another resource. Thank you.

You’re welcome, @thechurchofgod.
