Add instagram to sharing list on portfolio

Can I add an instagram option to this feature on the portfolio pages. I was reading a note from

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully you cannot add Instagram to the convertplug social sharing list. In Instagram, you can’t add a link to images and videos you post on Instagram and this is also why you cannot share any article on instagram.

Adding it there will require editing the theme core files.
