Add gradients to images via effect

Hi, was wondering if there is a way to add a gradient via the effects module?
Wanted to recreate the look here where the bottom of the image has a darker color overlaid.
It is a pretty common design need to be able to have white text show up better. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in!Regretfully we do not have that feature. You can only add gradient overlay to the Image elements using a custom inline element CSS. Perhaps this generator can help you:
