Hi I want to use an icon in the menu. I found this video but it seems old is there a more modern way to do it?

I found this video which helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UmSOxxuPSU but I have a question remaining … how do I NOT show the text eg ‘Home’ - if I remove that word in appearance > menu wordpress deletes that menu item

Hi @redleaf,

Glad that the video helps, but not clear on your remaining question. Are you trying to remove the Home text from the Menu and add only the icon in place of that?
If that is the case, you can changed the Home text to the icon by manually using the <i data-x-icon=""></i>.

If that is not the case and you are trying to point out something else, please provide any screenshot marked with that or any video that helps us to recognize it.
