Add excerpt to post

I have a classic post element on a page and I would like to add an excerpt but can not find where to add them. Has this feature been included since 2016?

Hey @wicara,

Regretfully, our development team does not support displaying the excerpt in the Classic Recent Post. The recommendation is to use one of the bundled grid plugins. Please see the items below:
