Add Email Body to Social Link

Hello -
I am trying to create an icon on our homepage for people to share our website through email. I can’t find a way to add the body text to the link. There is no place for it in the element (either the newer social or classic social share). I also tried making my own simple html mailto link and cornerstone automatically changes it to an email link with only an option to fill in the subject. This seems like it should be such a simple thing. How can I get this to work? It seems pointless to offer an email link under social if it doesn’t share the page link.

I have a maintenance plug-in active so you can only see the page when logged in. I will send info privately.
The email link that I’m talking about is under the section towards the middle of the page where it says “SUPPORT”.

Nevermind. I see now that it does add the body right after the subject in the same field. It would be more clear if there was a separate field for that. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out and glad it’s okay now.

And yes, it’s HTML standard where all parameters are added to the URL itself. It’s a standard link where you can’t add fields.

Actually, what I meant was that they should add a field in the Cornerstone panel where you can add the Body when email is selected. Right now it doesn’t look like an option. It would be helpful if they could add that feature in a future update. Thanks!
