Thanks for writing in!

The easiest way to add any code in the header and the footer of your site is to install a 3rd party plugin Insert Headers and Footers (https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/). Once installed, please go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers and then insert the code where you want to place inside the <head> tag. You will also an option to add to the footer too.
