Adaptive Streaming for background videos

Hello,

I’m looking for a recommendation that would enable adaptive streaming for background videos. Obviously, self-hosting videos are slow to load unless you decrease the quality so much they’re kind of ugly. Currently working on thewar.team/new/. I’m wanting autoplay for really short video clips that loop.

I’ve seen there are solutions out there that utilize HLS or DASH, but I don’t have a clue on how to even begin to implement these libraries or whether they are compatible with Pro. Do you all have any experience with this or have any directions to point me?

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we do not have any feature that allows you to easily insert short clips as video backgrounds. The background video feature we have needs to have a direct video file (or self-hosted) so that the video will autoplay.

@ruenel, thanks for the reply. I’ve found that Videopress does what I need it to do and allows me to use a MP4 file that plays quickly and at excellent quality.
