Hey there,
my navigation links are somehow activated all the time, although this should not be the case when opening the site. usally the links would be white when not hovered. thanks for your help!
Hello @ZerotoOneaerial,
Thanks for writing in! It seems that you are using the older version of the Pro theme (3.2.0). Pro 3.2.3 is now available in automatic updates already! This release contains fixes for several issues including the navigation issue that you are experiencing now so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.
Please let us know if this works out for you.
I updated, still the same problem. cleared cache, everything
Hello @ZerotoOneaerial,
Is your custom header set as Global Header? Please duplicate your header and then the duplicated header shall be assign exclusively for your homepage only. You will have to duplicate the menu too and this menu is for the newly duplicated header. In this menu, the menu item links should use relative urls such as #produkte and #kontakt only.
Hope this makes sense.
so you are telling me that I will need two separate headers for my page? this makes absolutely no sense if this should be easily maintainable! this is so basic, why does the theme not get this right?
Hey @ZerotoOneaerial,
Yes, you will need 2 separate headers for your site for the global One Page Navigation setup. It’s because if you use Absolute or Full URL, the menu item gets set to current-menu and that shares effects with the hover interaction. They can’t be separated without adding conditions. The said conditions though, according to our development team, carry a potential risk of breaking existing features.
Thank you for understanding.
