Activation and Plugin Conflict Query

Hello,
In order to get X on my staging site activated (hitting enter with the license code previously did nothing) I needed to deactivate two plugins I hope to keep on my live site. The plugins are 10web Optimizer and 10Web Backup. Not sure which or both caused the issue.

Given this conflict for activation, should I be concerned these plugins might cause other more widespread problems with X (or Pro when I upgrade) down the track or can the vast majority of conflicts be resolved by deactivating the plugins, making relevant site changes, then reactivating?

I suppose I can live with occasionally needing to deactivate / reactivate troublesome plugins for some site work but not if X activation is a symptom of a warning to stay away from some plugins more broadly.

Actually the issue is your staging URL assignment. You have assigned an incorrect URL.

Is it because I left off the https:// ? It seemed to work straight after I deactivated the plugins (including Yoast I forgot to mention). Did you correct my staging license URL in my theme.co account? It looks right now.

Either way, thank you, I’ll be more thorough in future.

I checked the staging license URL in your account and it is not changed yet however you should make the suggested change to avoid future issues. We’re glad the issue is resolved now.

Thank you. I see the confusion. Your screenshot showed the Pro license which I’m not using yet. My X license has the staging URL exactly as you’ve written it, but it’s helpful to know to double check this.

Hello Rob,

There are cases that a PHP memory limit exhaustion is causing the validation to fail. As you have mentioned, deactivating two plugins made it successful. We highly recommend that you increase your PHP memory limit to at least 256MB or 512MB. You may check this out
