Activating link option in Headline breaks text

I am running Pro 5.0.6. I am encountering a issue were I have a headline element and when I activate the link option, I lose all formatting of the text and text does not respond to any text formatting/styling changes in Cornerstone. If I change the base tag, that changes the styling of the text. Also I cannot select the headline element by clicking on it in the editor. I must use the outline. It also puts what looks like a unrendered headline element above the actual rendered text, but is the headline element as well. Seems like the link isn’t being correctly applied to the headline.

Separately, when adding a graphic icon to a headline, interaction is delayed vs the main text. Seems the link wrapper is applied separately to the icon and headline.

I’ve cleared server/browser cache, tested in Firefox Dev edition, Edge. I don’t know if this started with the Pro 5.x update or was there prior.

I have resolved the main issue of the headline link option.

The text in the headline still had an anchor tag wrapping it. Once removed, issue resolved.
