Suddenly, the bundled ACF is not “Pro” anymore and I cannot edit nor see the content of my repeater fields. It has been working fine a while ago. Are you aware of problems?
Hello @striata,
Thanks for writing in! Please take note that any new user created after April 1st 2024, will not have access to ACF Pro as per our agreement with the creators of the plugin. You are fine and will continue to get updates if you have it installed already with the Pro/X theme license acquired before the mentioned date. The Cornerstone ACF Pro integration will work even if we don’t bundle ACF Pro with X or Pro.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
One of my sites now say I have to activate my license and I can no longer edit repeater fields because they are pro.
We have a Pro Unlimited account from prior to April 1st 2024. We installed and set up the fields without problem but now it’s saying we have to activate a license.
We’re on WP 7 and Pro 6.8.10 using a child theme.
Hello @sarammog,
It should only ask for the license when you are not using the theme license created after the mentioned date. We would be happy to double-check your site if we can log in. Kindly create a new thread along with your WP details. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:

Hi
I’m not sure why, but yesterday it was saying I needed to activate the license but it’s fine today. No idea what caused it or why it’s okay now. No updates have been installed and nothing else has changed on the site. Some sort of glitch with the license verification?
I’ll carry on as usual for now and get back in touch if it turns out to be a reoccurring issue.
Thanks
I’ve noticed the same issue today. All my sites have ACF. I’ve checked 3 so far, and 2 have them have this issue. All are on the same versions of ACF and Pro/Cornerstone. I will try re-installing ACF to see if that helps
Seems all ok again now. Actually had to re-validate my Pro license as I t was showing up blank and not validated, but all good again.
Glad that things are well for you.
It fixed itself for me as well.
Thanks for the update, and glad that things are well for you.
Hi. It’s started randomly showing the activate the license message again on a bunch of our sites that use ACF Pro. Some started showing it and have since gone back to normal. Others are still not letting me edit or create PRO fields. Some sites are fine. All a bit random. All the sites have the Pro license validated.
Hello @sarammog,
You may need to revalidate the Pro theme license on those sites that do not allow you to edit the fields.
Thanks.
