ACF Pro License Multisite Issue

I’m creating some demo sites on subdomains and decided to use WordPress Multisite so I didn’t have to use multiple hosting instances. I’m running into an issue with the ACF license though. It’s working on the main site (no subdomain), but not on the others.

I made sure to validate each installation of Pro separately using our Pro Unlimited key. I tried having ACF Pro both network activated and individually activated per site and that seemed to have no effect. No matter what I’ve tried the license isn’t working on the sites that are subdomains. I also noticed that those sites aren’t showing up in my Account when I check my licenses so not sure if there’s a bug there or it’s related.

Any help appreciated!

Hi @adsmedia,

Thanks for reaching out.
The ACF Pro is a 3rd Party plugin, so I suggest you contact the plugin author on this and check why the license is not working with multiple sites.

Thanks

I’m reaching out to them as well but I also posted here since the license is included as part of my Pro theme. I don’t have a license key to install manually since that’s not how you handle the bundled license.

Hey @adsmedia,

I’ve reached out to our developer and they said that they will fix it on one of our releases. You can ignore it for now.

Thank you.

Ok gotcha, so it is just a glitch with the multisite stuff. I’ve learned of a workaround I can use for now while the fix is being implemented since I can still get it to work on the root site.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hey Ryan,

That’s great to hear from you. Just stay tuned.

Cheers!

Just updating to say that it appears that today’s update fixed this

Hey @adsmedia,

We’re glad that it is now working properly on your end.

Cheers!
