ACF Pro Gallery with Loopers

Hi,

I followed the video of themeco which shows how to set up a acf pro gallery with loopers, but the gallery doesn’t show. I tried it with a normal image, that showed up nice. But with the gallery it doesn’t work.

Does anyone know what to do?

Thanks for your help.

Jan

Hello Jan,

Thank you for the detailed post information. I have logged and checked your portfolio item. I am seeing only 1 image in the gallery.

It does not display in your Image Section because you did not have a Looper Consumer.

For every Looper Provider, you will need to have a Looper Consumer. Please check out the Gallery Section in your custom layout and analyze each of the elements and how it functions.

Best Regards.

Thanks for the quick response.

But I do have a consumer, within a figure, just as the YouTube video from themeco.

And within that figure (DIV) I have an image with the DC of Current item.

But still no gallery showing, only the word ‘image’.

Thanks again,

Jan

Here is how I did it:

I set up the ACF Gallery with the return value as an image URL.

Then I used a Grid (make sure to add your column sizes) for the looper provider, setting the Dynamic Content option with this as the input: {{dc:acf:post_field field=“gallery”}} with "gallery’ being your ACF field name.

Finally, I made a cell as the consumer, with the image inside that.

I hope that helps some.

Hey Jan,

When I checked the image URLs are generated inside the HREF of the Image element which is weird.

It might have just been a glitch because when I turned off the Looper Provider then set it again, the looper setup worked.

Hope that helps.

Ah, that worked! Thanks for your help!

Glad to hear that, Jan.
