ACF Post Fields pulldown not displaying?

I don’t know if it is because of the new update but I’m no longer seeing any ACF field keys as a choice in a pulldown form that I was used to.

So now I have to manually recall each custom field that I want to display. Any ideas on this? Is it now a bug?

Hello Dan,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked the ACF field on the Pro theme 5.1.5 version and it seems that you need to enter the meta key of the ACF field. It is a Post meta(custom field) that lists all the meta filed so that you can select the field.

I am running Pro 6.0.5 and while yes, I can see ALL the “Post: Meta (Custom Field)” selections in a pulldown, that is not the bug I am bringing to your attention.

Pro specifically has a section for ACF fields:

And what I am saying, and bringing to your attention, is that this is broken and no longer showing the ACF-only fields.

On another website, which is running Pro 5.1.5, it works just fine:

So this seems to be a bug in Pro 6 and I hope you can address it.

Hello Dan,

Thanks for writing in! This isn’t a bug. The current field has changed. In Pro 6.x is just an input field while in the previous version is was a select or dropdown. We will inform our developer to add back that feature so users can easily select the ACF fields.

Oh geez - yea that’s a massive oversight IMHO - it was always really convenient to pick the ACF fields available for the post type (depending on the conditions etc) from a pulldown - the way it is now, I would have to open a separate window with ACF to see what the field names are and then copy/paste.
