ACF fields dont show saved values on portfolio item after saving

I seem to be having some issues with ACF and Portfolio items. When I add a new portfolio item and fill out the ACF fields on the backend, if I save/publish all the ACF fields are blank. Also it seems to publish a big line of ACF code in the content area of the post. Something seems off here.

Shouldnt the ACF fields on the backend save and display those values? The values are being saved to the database, they just disappear on the backend. Am I not using this as intended by theme.co?

It is very difficult to replicate the issue you described in your thread, would you mind sharing your website credentials in the secure note for further investigation. Please include the following details in credentials.

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– Specific page URL where you are having this issue
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
