ACF field shortcode doesn't work

Hi there

I create ACF field “artist”
and try to add it in my layout builder like a subheader with code

{{dc:acf:field field=“artist”}}

but it doesn’t work.

Can you see pls what is wrong

Thanks for writing in! Please edit your Field Group. You only need text as the type.

Please check your layout now.

I use “taxonomy” because I need to get value for this field from product atribute value
(it more than 5000 products, and it would be nice if I can do it automatically).

Have we any other method for this case, or does acf shortcode work only with text type?

Hi @uncleshneerson,

Regretfully at this time Dynamic Content can only output values that ACF provides as a string. If you try to access a Taxonomy, ACF only allows returning the term object or ID. In either case, our Dynamic Content system won’t be able to interpret that into something useful.

We are working on a better integration with ACF that will be available as early as our next release cycle. Our focus is making ACF Repeaters available in loopers but I’ll look into if it is possible for us to tap into those taxonomy values as well.
