Accordion moves up and down when clicked on

Hi there,

I have an accordion element on my website at the contact page: http://nieuwesite.investorready.nl/contact/

Whenever I press on one of the accordion items (questions) the screen goes up and the link of the item shows up in the url of the website. When I close it, the screen goes down. I’m looking for a solution so that the accordion items responds correctly.

Also it appears that when I try use it on my mobile phone, it doesn’t open/collapse.

I’ve been looking through the forums and documentation but so far haven’t found anything specific on this topic. I was hoping someone could provide me and possible others struggling with this with a solid solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out.

The theme automatically scrolls when a link has HASH ID matching the existing element of the same ID. And your responsive accordion plugin uses hash which conflicts with the theme. Unfortunately, there is no available workaround, how about using the builder’s accordion? It should work since your accordion contents are just texts.

Thanks for your quick reply. I’ve made a new FAQ with a different plugin that works better with the theme. The only problem is I cant get it to let the first accordion item (question and answer) to start open. Do you know a (quick) solution for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s good to know that you found a way to display FAQs in accordions. Regretfully this is a 3rd party plugin which we are not familiar with. You may contact the creators of this plugin so that you can easily get assistance with what you wanted to do with the plugin’s accordion feature.
