Accordion headers?

Hi!

I use accordion on almost all of my landing pages, and I was wondering if it is possible to have all headers in accordions to be H3?

When having a lot of accordions - and content in them, it becomes a lot of plain text with out headlines, and H tags would be a great SEO advantage.

NB: I know that I can set a header in an accordion to H3 in the text editor, but that doesn’t work for me since I’ve set H3 sizes for blog posts etc. It would also be a lot of manual work…

Hello @Kobber,

Thanks for writing to us.

Regretfully there is no option on the element to set the HTML tag at the moment. It would require custom development I would suggest you please contact a developer who can assist you with your concerns or you can subscribe to One where customization questions are answered.

Thanks for understanding

Thanks for your answer @prakash_s

It seems odd to me that with everything Pro can do - you can’t do this. Accordions are great for “stuffing” content like questions, FAQs etc. and they can contain a lot of information on small space, but a lot of text without H tags is a nightmare for SEO.

And by the way - the accordion element consists of header and content, but the header is not actually a header? I guess that most Pro users think it is.

Could you please consider this for future development? It would mean a great deal for SEO.

Hello @Kobber,

We will take your feedback as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration in the next coming releases. I cannot guarantee when this will be added in anytime soon though.

Thank you for your understanding.
