Accidentally added popup form to global css

Hi there. I’m, a complete newbie and was trying to embed a pop up form on my homepage. I added it to the global css and now it’s displaying up top and I can’t find a way to delete the code. My site is thriftednest.com

Hello Leah,

Thanks for writing in!

Even if you add the form code to global CSS it won’t display on top of header section. I see that form is added above navigation area.I think you might have added using child theme or in header file. If you remember the file name then using FTP software like Filezilla navgate under /wp-content/themes/x/ and **/wp-content/themes/x-child/**and remove the code.

In case you are having issues, please share website login details in secure note for us to take a closer look.

Thanks.

I’m almost certain I added it in the global css section. No code appears in the header text box… Is that where it would be?

Hi Leah,

I’ve checked the Theme Options > CSS and Theme Options > JS and there are no codes in there.

I did look around and found your form codes under Page > Content CSS, I did go ahead and remove it (see the codes below)

Since you already have the MailerLite plugin and Enable the MailerLite Popups I think you don’t need that code anymore unless you want to place it on a specific section of your page. But I could be wrong, please contact the plugin author/support regarding any further question about the plugin as we can not provide support for 3rd party plugins and scripts.

Cheers!

Thank you so much!

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
