Absolute URLs being changed to relative URLs automatically

Hi Support. When a colleague with the WP Editor role edits content in a Cornerstone V2 Text element (using visual mode), any hrefs that it contains that point to the website domain are being converted from absolute to relative upon saving. This is preventing an embedded image from displaying on the front end (although it still works in preview). When I go in and change the URLs back to absolute, it all works properly again.

The substitutions are happening even when she’s only changing text in a different paragraph, for instance - i.e. not intentionally altering the embedded image.

Any idea why this might be happening, and how to prevent it?

The page in question is https://www.reachuk.org/fundraising/santa-run/.

Thanks
Mike.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!

I checked the text element with the absolute URL in visual mode and it works fine on my setup.
Not sure why this is happening to you. Can you please confirm if she is adding the absolute URL throw the link setting option.
Please check the screenshot here.

Hope this helps!
