About ready to throw X out the window

I’ve been using X since day one, and over the years, I’ve noticed a steady decline in quality.

Recently, I posted a note, indicating that randomly and routinely, after saving edits, Cornerstone will reload a much earlier version of the content, and if you’re not paying close attention, you’ll end up saving that old content, overwriting your changes.

For the past 5 days, I’ve been trying to produce a single page layout, only to have to start over again, time and again. Imagine 8 hours of work thrown out the window.

I’m working locally, have only X installed, on MAMP, no caching … I’ve tried that on staging, I’ve tried it on production. The problem exists in all three environments.

When you last looked into this, your admin spent less than a minute logged into our site, “testing and bug chasing” … not sure what can be accomplished in a minute.

I have VERY CONSIDERABLE time spent developing my X knowledge … a decade + … and this stuff now, I am not sure how to proceed.

And if your answer is save them as a template, I’d suggest that you’re not aware of how the development process works, being consumed with developing.

The sh*t ain’t working.

Hi @IareChaz,

We are really sorry that you are facing such an issue. I have tried the same in my local environment but was unable to replicate the issue you described. In reference to your previously posted issue in the following thread, it has been already specified that it might be an issue with the multiple cache plugin installed on your website.

If you are having the same issue, please try to deactivate the plugins mentioned in the above thread, which might be the reason for your problem irrespective of the environment. If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Thanks

Sir;

There are no plugins running on the local box.

  1. Edit page content in conerstone.
  2. Edit global block content
  3. Return back to editing the page content

At this point, an older version of the content is loaded. IF you refresh the page few times, sometimes you get lucky.

I am running on a local box, not sure how to give access.

Hi @IareChaz,

No problem with that, can you please make a screencasting video to understand the steps and what exactly happening at your end.

Thanks
