Hi Themeco Team,

Could you help me to clarify what is the process for migrating Cornerstone (standalone) datas from site “A” to site “B,” which will be running on Theme PRO?

By datas, I mean :

  • Libraries of Elements
  • Custom components
  • Custom templates
  • Pages designed
  • Custom settings from “Theme Options”

My question might seem unusual, but I’m looking to transition a site “A” that only uses the CS BUILDER with a third-party theme to a site “B” where the theme (and design) will be entirely managed by the PRO Theme.

What’s the best process for exporting all Cornerstone datas from A and importing it into B to have two “similar” Cornerstone environments ?

Thanks for reaching out!

You can try to unistall/delete the Conerstone standlone plugin and just activate the Pro theme.

Hi Florian,

As my colleague says, you can deactivate the Cornerstone and then install and activate the Pro and check if that works for you. I would suggest you perform the operation in your staging and if that works well you can replicate the same in live.
