A conflict on the front end of your site... using WPEngine

I’m getting an error when attempting to edit pages that reads: A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Setup a brand new site on WPEngine.
  • Installed X Pro
  • Applied the latest X Pro update today
  • Cleared all caches

No cigar. Still getting the error. Since my account is a brand new WPEngine account, I haven’t setup anything weird or anything technically quirky.

Not sure what else to do. Attached is a screenshot.

Hi there @imramugh,

Thanks for writing in!

Very odd, that this is a brand new account and you’ll getting the issue, do you see any errors in the inspector console when in Google Chrome?

Out of interest, does it work on the WPEngine staging environment? As the staging environment has no caching activated at all.

If you could attach some WP Admin Login details in a secure note and we’ll take a look.

Thanks!

Any update?

Hi There,

Thank you for the information provided. I have updated your Cornerstone plugin, purged your server cache, regenerated your permalink settings and now you should be able to load Cornerstone editor.

Thanks!
