A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading.AFTER THEME UPDATE

Hi,

I’ve updated to the latest version. I keep getting this error and it takes for ever spinning before I get this error.
Sometimes if I keep refreshing like 5-7 times, CS works eventually. I’m pulling my hair, I wanna fix this issue.
My hosting is Bluehost. I’ve contacted them and asked them to remove mod-security rules, they attempted all kind of things to fix the issue but they cant’. they also removed server-side cache. I’ve removed WPsuper cache cache and deactivated it, I tried deactivating my plugins, I tried using different browsers. I’ve tried solutions proposed on similar threads in the forum, no luck!.

PS: I can’t give you admin access, there are confidential data in the back-end and I’m responsible.

How to solve this issue before I get crazy! :frowning: I need to be able to use the website again, please. Give me some solution to implement.

Thanks.

Hi there @spi,

Thanks for writing in! It may be hard to find the true cause without access, as it sounds like you’ve already done the most common trouble solving steps.

Back to the cache, you mention you’ve disabled WP Super Cache, before disabling and updating did you clear the cache? Reactivate, clear the cache. Deactivate, remove any defines added by the plugin to your wp-config.php, remove the caching code added to the .htaccess and try again.

Let us know how that goes.

Thanks!

Hi @Jack

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve removed WP super cache. What does it leave in WP-config after it’s removed?

I suspect that Bluehost is one of the reason. What do you think can be wrong on their part? they’re a very bad hosting company, I know, but I have to deal with that.

Cheers,

Hi again @Jack

I was testing and trying to solve it. I discovered that Bluehost didn’t increase memory from WPconfig though they said they did, so I’ve done that myself.

I then disabled the plugins, this time all at once and tried activating them one by one.

The error stopped appearing when ToolSet CRED plugin was disabled. What do you think? did that happen with other users too? what do you think I should do to make it work with CRED?

Thanks!

Hi there,

I see this similar issue before and it’s due to compatibility between the two. I read somewhere that there was a recent change in their updates that caused conflict between the too. Which might need special integration with the theme. But I’m not really sure so I’ll add this to our issue tracker.

Thanks!

Hi,

yes please, you might need to get in touch with them and let them know! I’ll remind you here in this topic.

Thanks!.

Hi There,

If you could do some testing and uncover more information on the error that would help. You may also check in with the plugin developer. Unfortunately, as stated on the issue tracker when I check, we cannot dedicate compatibility testing on every plugin with conflict. X theme and Cornerstone is coded based on wordpress standard. We can revisit this issue when you can provide more substantial information. Thank you for understanding.
