6.0.4 Update Cornerstone Does Not Show Content and Main Page Render Problems

After updating to the latest 6.0.4 Cornerstone no longer shows content except for the header and footer on pages except for the main page. The main site page also now appears to be in a block instead of full width. How to fix this?

And to clarify, the cache under Settings has been cleared and plugins disabled but no change.

HI there,

Please also make sure that you have update to the latest of version of Cornerstone as well.

If the issue persists, contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

Hope this helps.

I there, the same issue is happening for me - I can no longer edit with Cornerstone. The Cornerstone editor just shows the header and footer, and no elements to edit. The cache has been cleared and I added the code to increase memory in wp-config.php. I’m still seeing the issue.

Modifying the memory limits and rebooting the server did not solve the issue.

I have Cornerstone Version 3.0.4 installed (the latest).

A couple extra attempts at clearing the browser cache, clearing the X cache and restarting the browser fixed the Cornerstone issue.

The main rendering issue remains however. Site still appears to have taken on a boxed layout between the header and footer despite the layout being in “Full Width”.

Odd, but changing the page from Default Layout to Blank - No Container | Header, Footer fixed it.

I also tried clearing the browser & site cache, using a new browser, clearing X cache, deactivating all plugins (except cornerstone) to no avail.

I gave up and went to try to just recreate the page with a fresh new page and receive another cornerstone error. When I open a new page, click to use cornerstone, the page just refreshes and doesn’t event attempt to take me to cornerstone where the first error occurs.

Hello @jgee288,

Can you please create a new ticket and share website credentials in a secure note for us to take a closer look?

@BTech would you mind confirming whether or not problem is still there?

Thanks.

Hello @jgee288,

You just need to click secure note Key icon to make ticket private so that the information is in between you and Themeco staff.

Thanks.

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, but you’re not supposed to post a credential on someone’s thread because the original poster will see it. I did go ahead and removed your credentials If you have additional query, please create a new thread, explain your issue there and provide us credentials in a secure note on your own thread.

How To Get Support

Your homepage was in the “text editor”, did you edit your homepage outside of Cornerstone? Because if its true that you edit the page outside of Cornerstone, you can not edit that page back in Cornerstone, unless you rebuild it on Cornerstone or you keep a backup of it.

Your Cornerstone seems to be fine, I was able to open this page and was able to do some edits on your draft home new page.

Cheers!

Revert back to 2.0.6 = all your problems are gone.

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! It’s good to know that you have revert back to an older version of the theme. Please keep in mind that sooner or later, you will have to update to the latest versions. I would recommend that you create a staging site. This is very useful because you can test drive any X updates in the staging area, do the customizations and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed the update in the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:

Hope this helps.

Thanks, but no. I will stay at 2.0.6 forever lol
