404 Issue after recent Cornerstone update and WPML Compatibility

Dear all,
I’m experiencing an odd situation on my website with Pro Child Theme and WP installed on a subfolder (www.domain.com/subfolder).
Before (I guess…) 6.1.0 theme version everything was working just fine, but then after upgrading to the subsequent version around three weeks ago I started to be unable to access the Cornerstone editor like I normally did for the last 3 years. Right after clicking on the related editor link on the lateral menu bar or on the top menu from single pages I’m redirected to the 404 error page.
What makes the situation more awkward is:

  • when I add WP installation subfolder name in “Custom Path” within Cornerstone settings page, the page editor return accessible but redirect all connections to its main page (All documents)
  • when I disable WPML language translation plugin everything come back to normaly, starting to work properly again.

Additionally the website seems to be slower than before.

Any idea or suggestions? I’ve no clues.

Thanks in advance

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for reaching out.
There are a few ongoing issues with the WPML and the latest version of the theme. But still, we want to investigate your case to understand and recognize the cause of the issue. I would suggest you provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks
