404 error on search console

Hi,

I already deleted the subfolder https://tarekrabaa.com/ar/ and i redirected the following URL https://tarekrabaa.com/ar/topics/رأي/ to 410.

Google search console still giving an error msg "
Googlebot couldn’t crawl this URL because it points to a non-existent page."

what to do?

Hi Tarek,

When I visited this URL you have posted I got:
Sorry, the page you requested has been permanently removed.

With server response 410, so I think it’s normal that Google crawler reports that this page doesn’t exist, could you please tell me what exactly are you trying to do? and how this is related to X theme? are you confused between server response 410 and 301 redirects?

I used a plugin 410 for wordpress and i added all deleted URL. but Goole still giving this crawling error message.
Is this normal? or not need to use the 410 response for deleted URL?
