Why some websites are using an old version of wordpress ? Is better , is worst or it is the same ? thanks

Thanks for writing in!

I would say that the latest version is better as there are lots of security enhancement that has been added.

The latest version requires php 7 so some websites might have not updated due to limited server resources.
