4.3.3 Pro Update Issue

We have encountered an issue with v4.3.3 of the Pro Theme. After updating from 4.2.3 to 4.3.3, the Pro editor does not open anymore. We reverted the site back to a state before updating and were able to load the Pro editor again (back in 4.2.3). After deleting Pro and re-installing 4.3.3 from our themeco account, it still produced the same issue with the Pro editor pages not loading (just giving a blank screen). After doing this, we replaced the 4.3.3 files with the files for 4.2.3 and interestingly even with v4.2.3 running, we are still unable to access the Pro editor (the closest we’ve managed to get is opening theme options in the Pro editor, however that just gives a loading screen).

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects the loading of the builder when you update it to the latest version because we are not experiencing your issue on our development website.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

We have isolated the issue to the Gravity View- Gravity Forms Calendar View add-on (which was actually causing a few other issues on our site due to an error in one of the code snippets). We’ve reached out to them to let them know of the error. Thank you!
