Hi,
Does the “Yoast” (free) plugin damage or create problems for the “X” theme when used with it?
Does it improve SEO significantly given that X also incorporates some SEO features?
Is it advisable to use this plugin with X theme?

Thanks for reaching out.
There is no such report on the said plugin that it creates an issue with the X theme. Still, I would suggest you create a Test page at your website and add the Yoast meta values and check if that creates any issues.
If that creates an issue, I would suggest you contact the Plugin Author. Please remember that we don’t offer any support to the 3rd Pary plugins and related issues.
