3-column page; each column static or scrolling?

Hi, struggling to figure out if I can accomplish a layout similar to this:

https://www.surfacemag.com/

Notice how the first column of content is a full-height image/slider rotating through. The middle column contains additional posts and content that one can scroll only that column down, and the far right final column is ANOTHER separate scrolling column that goes until its content is finished.

The “middle” column of content is what the browser registers as the ‘page’ and triggers the browsers scroll bar. so basically I’m interested in the first and last column of content because it behaves differently.

I thought I could create a row, divide it into three columns and then trigger a “scroll” or “no scroll” feature in each column? But I don’t think it’s that easy? Is this layout/functionality with Pro/Cornerstone?

Thanks,
C

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for writing in!

Unfortunately, this layout isn’t included in Cornerstone. Implementing it within the current rows/columns functionality is doable but with advanced HTML/CSS customization which isn’t included in our support policy, I’ll list below some of the tutorials that might help you getting there if you decided to do that on your own instead of hiring someone:

Thanks.

Ok, thank you for the links. Helpful.

Glad we could help.

Cheers!
