Im not sure if the latest update for font awesome’s SVG support did this or not but I see now that there are over 26,000 files in the font_awesome folder, and seems most of these are in fact the svg files. Unfortunately, my web host has a limit on how many inodes (file and folders) I can have in my account and we have discovered that the font_awesome folder is taking up the most inodes. I see I can disable the “sharp” font awesome icons in theme options but it doesn’t remove the svg files. Is there anything that can be done to remove these files since I only have a few icons on my site and they’re the font awesome web font versions?

Currently, your options are to either archive the SVG folder in the Assets folder, or delete it. This will need to be done on every update, until a solution is found. I have about 12 Pro sites on my inode limited hosting, so it’s a bit of a pain in the backside.
