2 post Customise the BLOG page and CATEGORY pages

Hi. Sorry I missed the deadline for this post to be closed. It was a family matter this is why I could not be focused on this.

I have gotten an answer from RueNel, which is exactly what I want.

I added this suggestion to the Global Css, but it is not exactly working the posts are still offset on the category pages.

following CSS code in the X > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r1)

#x-iso-container .entry-title {
min-height: 107px;
}

#x-iso-container .entry-content.excerpt {
min-height: 250px;
}

Can you help any further please? The code is still in the website you can see how the posts are organised now.

The Theme ICON organises the blog posts on a category page automatically all randomly and a bit messy. Is there a possibility to have them in line like the recent posts per example? And if so how do I do this please?
Thank you
Corina

Hello There,

Regretfully we cannot control the height of your post titles and content excerpts in any of the screen sizes, just leave it as is and let masonry layout work the way it is designed. Adding a custom css will just make another issue.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hi so should I take your suggested following CSS code in the X > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r1) out again?
Thank you Corina

Hello @Scalentse,

I can’t see the screenshot you have shared and I am seeing that the screenshot have been removed. Can you please confirm? Adjusting height using CSS in Masonry layout will cause other layout issues. So in case you have CSS to adjust height, it’s advisable to remove the same.

Thanks.

Ok thank you I will take it out again.

You’re welcome! Let us know. Thanks!

I like to get back on this, as I am not really happy the way it displays the different blog posts. What else can I do so it is nicely displayed all in one line or even undernice each other. like listed with photo on left text on right with a read more button maybe?
Can I select somewhere different layout option?
thank for your help
Corina

Hi Corina,

Unfortunately, this layout you mentioned is only available in Ethos stack.

To make similar design as Ethos you need a lot custom CSS and it would require a custom development which is outside the scope of our support.

You should contact to the 3rd party developers to help you with this.

Thanks for understanding!

ok thank you

You are most welcome. :slight_smile:
