I just set up a staging server for a client and installed X theme and after activating the theme the site gets a critical error (website has no error in prior theme).
Also, I get an error when trying to clicking on the link “click here to activate the required Cornerstone plugin” - HTTP ERROR 500.

Thanks for writing in! When you log in to your site, you will be seeing this:
Your site is running an outdated, insecure version of PHP (7.0.33-47+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1), which could be putting your site at risk for being hacked. You can also go to Tools > Site Health > Status and see that there are issues in your WP installation. Please resolve it first. This is to avoid any Error 500 when activating the X theme and Cornerstone plugin. You may need to check out this compatibility documentation first for further details:
