2.4.4 | Row Margin Left & Right Being Affected

When linking your row margin values together and changing top or bottom, left and right change as well. This then affects the overall balance of the row – and because the values are grayed out, you can’t manually update. See video in secure note.

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s intentional, the left and right margins for section’s row are disabled. But you may still able to change the section’s right and left a margin, or row’s and column’s padding.

This is to make sure the row as container remain on center so left and right margin is always set to auto.

Hi @Rad,

I appreciate the response. You clearly didn’t watch the video though… I agree with what you stated as to how it is “supposed” to work and how it has functioned in the past. What I’m saying is that when making linked changes, it DOES change the left and right margin reseting it FROM auto TO a measurement (in this case 5em). Which means the rows container measurements break. And then, because it is un-editable, you can’t change it back without a workaround.
