2.3.3 - 2.2.x pages only work in Skeleton View

Pages built prior to 2.3.0 are only editable via skeleton mode. The builder loads but no body content is displayed. Already tried clearing cache, clearing V2 style cache and tried two different server setups: staging = SiteGround and production = AWS Lightsail.

This is not the case on all sites that I’ve updated so not a prominent issue but definitely started with the update on this site. Help? :-/

Would you mind sharing WordPress login and FTP credentials for that site? We can take a closer look at why that’s happening. Thanks!

Hi @alexander, thanks. I’ve gone ahead and included creds above. Once in, if you navigate to the homepage and edit with pro, you’ll see the issue.

I should add that I’m using Chrome. Just in case that matters :slight_smile:

I’ve checked half a dozen or so pages and they’re working for me. It’s possible that there was still some caching going on and you were getting old scripts, or the server cache was finally cleared.

I did encounter one issue where a Global Block wasn’t rendering in the preview. I edited that block and found some line breaks that were added like this </br>. I fixed those tags and now the Global Block is rendering correctly.

If you’re still seeing a problem, are there any specific pages you’d like me to check?

I had the same thing. Was caching for me. Autopmize plugin needed to be set to not include page builders.

Thanks @alexander - Appreciate the followup. It appears to be working now. So whatever you did (or didn’t do) thank you. I know that caching can cause this but I’ve deactivated all caching that I have control over & cleared V2 Style Cache.

But regardless, thank you for your time and assistance as always!

You’re welcome! I did go in and modify some HTML to be the correct syntax. However, since then we pushed an update that allowed the builder to be more gracious to those kinds of situations and try to use the browser’s approximation of what should be displayed instead of showing nothing.
