The front end of the site shows everything is working fine of course. But the builder does not show background images any longer. I reverted the site back to 2.0.4 after I finished the video.

I believe this will be fixed by the same changes made to correct what you reported in another recent topic. Keep an eye out for the official release and let us know if that makes a difference.
Hi Dan,
You can safely update when the official release is out. The new release will have the patch included permanently.
Thanks
Hey Dan,
Just to briefly clarify on the versioning: It considers anything tagged like “2.3.0-beta1” or “2.3.6-abc” as less than the actual number without the tag. When 2.3.6 is available on auto updates it should just show up for you.
Thank you for the clarity on this Alex! Any news on when the patch will be released?
@alexander, Well I see the release is pushed for automatic updates but it won’t let me get it from the themes upgrade area. (should be 2.3.6-96630af => 2.3.6).

Cache is all cleared and the validation screen looks like this:

I could just manually update I know. But I thought I’d let you know what was happening. What do you think?
I wonder if it’s because that commit rev started with a number
I’ll see if we can stop that in the future. For now, an easy way to manually update would be using the “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” plugin. I may have left it active on your site. You can just update a theme that already exists and it will be replaced.
Worked like a charm. Thanks man!
You are most welcome!
