hrachovecParticipantHello:
I’ve got a client telling me that that they’re testing my site which I’ve built in X Theme and Cornerstone and embedded YouTube videos won’t play on a Lumia 630 with Windows Mobile. Now, I can’t see who on earth still uses Windows Mobile, but I guess these souls exist. A page with a lot of embedded videos is here:

Are you aware of any issues that might be caused on a Windows Mobile device? I can’t even test this myself since I don’t have a phone with that OS on it.
Thanks, Russell

RupokMemberHi Russell,
Lumia 630 is a pretty old phone and I guess he is using the built in IE with that to check. However Youtube embed is nothing but the Youtube video embedded within iframe. So if the browser supports Youtube video playing, it will be able to load this as well and X (or any theme) is not controlling anything here. Unfortunately we can’t check this with Lumia 630 as it’s already outdated and couldn’t be found easily. Also I can’t guarantee the compatibility with the IE version used on Windows Phone since Microsoft already abandoned this. Still, we support IE9+ for desktop though.
Cheers!

hrachovecParticipantHey Rupok:
Right, thanks for this. I hadn’t realised Lumia 630 was from 2014. That is old now. I’ll let my client know. Thanks!
