jmartinosParticipantHello,
I have just validated my X theme and went to install the Content Doc plugin. When I clicked the install button, i was taken to a blank page that said “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” This is happening when I try to install any of the X theme extensions. I have tried to research solutions but couldn’t find anything I could understand. What do I need to do to be able to install the x theme extensions?
My website is: http://www.eliteithome.com/lp
I’m using WordPress 4.3.6 and Theme X 4.1.1September 23, 2016 at 8:57 pm #1188705
FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! WordPress 4.3.6 is outdated, please update it to the latest version. After that update your X|Theme as well and re-validate your site.

RupokMemberHi there,
It seems you have permission issue for your directories. Please try resetting your WordPress files and folders permissions. The correct settings can be found at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/05/08/proper-wordpress-filesystem-permissions-ownerships/
If the issue still persist, check if you are using any security or caching plugin that might interrupt by settings such security configuration. Let’s disable them and try again.
Thanks!

jmartinosParticipantThank you for your response. My WordPress file and folder permissions are now at the correct settings and I am still receiving the same message as above. The settings have been verified to be correct, so i know it is no longer an issue. What other problem could be preventing me from installing the extensions?

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
You’re using an older version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin which should be the cause of this issue. You can see the latest version numbers from here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).
Then update your X theme & Cornerstone plugin (https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/). After that, try installing extensions.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!September 27, 2016 at 9:51 am #1192380
