newcastleliveParticipantHi,
We’ve built a great site using X theme. Thank you so much.
I also used X to build anther site for our parent company
On both installs, I’m using an X Child Theme and the Yoast SEO Plug-in.
On the http://eao.com.au/ install, both the meta and the og tags publish as directed and expected.
On the http://newcastlelive.com.au/ install, the meta and og are not displaying as directed or expected.
MY QUESTION: On the http://newcastlelive.com.au/ install, I have customised the wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/icon/wp-header.php file to include a slider we use for advertising. Is this the reason Yoast is not displaying my meta and og correctly?
It’s a long shot, but I wanted to tick it off before I go diving into my database to look for a bigger problem.
Thanks for your time.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! There is nothing wrong with the custom wp-header.php. The problem is that you left Open Graph in the customizer enabled. You no longer need this since you already have Yoast SEO plugin to take charge. This is already redundant and is creating the issue. To resolve this, please go to Appearance > Customize > Social > Open Graph and disable it instead.
Hope this helps.
