Hello,

I’ve been searching through the forum and have found several different options on how to make a Yelp icon.

Is there a semi-simple way to add a Yelp icon? I’m using the Renew Stack.

Also, I’m creating locally so I can not provide credentials.

Thanks for writing in! But, where do you want to place the Yelp icon? If you wouldn’t mind please provide us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Actually you can do an icon shortcode, I just don’t know where do you want to place it.

Hello,

I would like it to be placed in the footer like the social icons in the customizer.

I’ve uploaded a screen shot.

If its easier, should I just create my own icons and add them to the footer code?

Hi Luisa,

Because this requires a template change, I’d advise that you setup a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released.

Then on your child theme’s functions.php file, add this code below.
