    Hi,

    Does the X supplied Disqus extension sync comments with the WordPress database like the official Disqus plugin found on the WordPress plugin repository does? Can’t find this info in your support documents.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! The Disqus Comments Extension utilizes a native WordPress filter to swap out the standard comment template with Disqus’ comment functionality. If you do not have comments enabled on your site or page, post, portfolio item, et cetera, you will not see the Disqus comments be output. Ensure that you have comments enabled on your site/entries so that you can see the Disqus comments. Regretfully this extension will only display Disqus comments and doesn’t sync comments from WordPress. You have to do the syncing within your Disqus account.

    So, when I disable the Disqus extension all the comments will be gone?

    Could the syncing feature be added in a future version of your extension?
