FarBlueIRParticipantMorning,
I’m currently working on a new client’s website, using X-Theme, and we’re nearing the end of the project. We would like post this to a staging area, so that they can preview it before they give the go ahead for it to go live.
Would I need to purchase an additional X-Theme API Key, or could I temporarily reassign it to the test site and then reassign it once more when the tests have been completed? Also, we have an old domain for our company, where I have created a sub-domain for the staging site, but I’m whether it would be a simple case of just copying the files over and assigning the API Key?
Kind regards,

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
You don’t need another license for test/staging server. You can assign the purchase key twice, one for PRODUCTION and one for DEV/TEST. Just go to your license page and hit Add Development Environment (Optional) and add your test site’s URL.
You may try All in one migration plugin when moving sites, it will handle all the process. But yes, you’ll have to re-assign purchase keys and validate them again.
Thanks!
