    To the Developers,

    I have been using X – Under Construction (while I build a site for a client) and I encountered a bug. I deactivated the Under Construction plugin (absent mindedly), instead of disabling “Maintenance Mode” in the settings and when I reactivated the plugin, my site was wide open.

    I went to the website address with multiple platforms to check and everything was visible.
    I had to defer to a third party plugin to protect my site once more.

    Could you explain how this could happen?
    I tried removing and reinstalling the plugin but, it retained all the previous settings and still didn’t function.

    Update:
    The plugin appears to be working again. I don’t know what caused it to temporarily stop working but, it was still a stressful situation.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! It seems to be a temporary caching issue. If you have any caching plugins installed, you can disable it while you’re developing your site.
