Sounds like I don’t love the theme, but I’ve purchased 33 licenses so far so that’s not true! 🙂
but this one has got me scratching my head: here’s the full story…
I have a version of X-theme that was originally installed and validated under another domain (swishermedicine.com).
Some months back, I switched the default domain to be “swisherinternalmedicine.com”
I went into theme.co license manager, un-applied the swishermedicine.com from the Envato Purchase Code, then re-applied this same purchase code to “swisherinternalmedicine.com”
I then verified from within the web site. So everything seemed fine.
however, now the web site constantly shows me that X is not verified and that there is an update (from 4.3.0 to 4.6.4- obviously, I’ve missed a few updates because of this issue). But when I click on the “validate X” hyperlink, it takes me the “Congratulations! X is now installed…” It also informs me I have “Only one final step! Please head over to the extensions page and install Cornerstone to finalize…”
So, when I go to the extensions page and click “install” for conerstone I get the following messages:

Unpacking the package…Installing the plugin…
Plugin installed successfully.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare x_wp_audio_shortcode_library() (previously declared in /home/content/56/12602156/html/wp-content/plugins/x-shortcodes-old/functions/shortcodes-native.php:26) in /home/content/56/12602156/html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/integrations/x-theme.php on line 297
Then I can’t access wp-admin, and I get the same error message there, too.
So, I just FTP in disable the Cornerstone plugin and everything goes back to normal, expect now I have the “Update X-Theme messages” again.
Any idea on what’s going on?

Sorry to hear that you are facing this but no worries about that. Seems you missed lots of important updates meantime. There was a known bug on X 4.3.0 with WordPress 4.5 regarding the automatic update. If you are using that version or earlier, kindly update the theme manually for now. You can download the installable theme from themeforest or here – https://community.theme.co/dashboard/
You can just place the extracted theme folder x under wp-content/themes/ folder using FTP replacing the old theme folder.

After updating theme, everything should be fine and then update all other plugins.
